Mary Beth has one of those spirits that is contagious. She is a loyal, consistent, and loving friend and anyone that is around her immediately knows this. She radiates Jesus in her actions and words and constantly puts others above herself. Other people look to Mary Beth for advice, comfort and a true friendship. To know her is to love her and I could not be more thankful for the friendship that started at an alpha meeting our freshman year.

1. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Right at this second, there is no where I would rather be than relaxing on a tropical island. However, I have been to several tropical places before, so if I could travel anywhere, it would be Europe. I've seen so many people go there and I feel like I would really enjoy all the food (mama's gotta eat!) and culture.

2. What's your favorite college memory so far?

I have definitely made some of the best memories here at Auburn! But if I had to pick one it would be winning the Iron Bowl this fall. I have always wanted to beat Bama while I am a student at Auburn, so seeing that actually happen was truly amazing. It was so fun celebrating with all my friends and family!

3. What's your favorite Auburn tradition? Why?

I feel like this is a typical answer, but rolling Toomer’s corner would have to be my favorite Auburn tradition. I have been rolling Toomer’s since I was little, so I think it is cool that it is a tradition that I can not only participate in as a student, but I can carry the tradition on even when I have my own family someday.

4. What Netflix show do you love right now?

If you know me, you know that The Office and Friends are my all time favorite Netflix shows, but recently I have been super into This Is Us (watching on Hulu, not Netflix, but still counts right?). But seriously it never fails to make me cry.

5. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

Something my dad has always told me since I was young is that there will always be someone prettier or smarter than you, so don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Just be yourself and give your best effort and you will succeed.
