Dear Potential New Members,

We are thrilled to serve as Alpha Delta Pi’s 2024 Recruitment Chairs! Our role is to represent ADPi within Panhellenic and to the public in various ways. We work as a team to lead workshops that prepare our members for recruitment and plan each detail of the recruitment process. However, our greatest honor is to welcome you into our chapter and show you what makes ADPi’s sisterhood so special. Our members have a host of diverse personalities and interests, which create unique opportunities to grow alongside one another. The community we have found in ADPi is one that has encouraged us, challenged us and has shaped who we have become. It is a dream come true to get to share this sisterhood with each of you!

You are about to take your first steps in the biggest transition of your life. We remember being in your shoes not too long ago. You might be giddy with excitement, anxious about the unknown or even a little bit of both. Know that we are rooting for you! Our hope is that our members will make you feel loved, confident and like you can be fully yourself in the midst of this change.

This group of girls have become our home away from home at college. As upcoming seniors, both of us look back and are thankful for the laughter, personal cheerleaders, accountability and the type of friends we prayed for before coming to Auburn. Through this year’s recruitment, we hope that you too will find your home away from home.

Joyfully,

Liza Gaster, Vice President of Recruitment, & Virginia McCain, Vice President of Marketing

Hey y’all!

My name is Demi and I have the privilege of serving as this year’s Vice President of New Member Experience. My role in this position is to provide support for our chapter’s new pledge class and walk alongside them during their first year at Auburn. I am here to make this exciting transition as smooth as possible by guiding them and being there for them in any way that they need while teaching them the history and values of Alpha Delta Pi. Most importantly, I am here for each and every one of our new members by aiding them in their transition to college and Greek life. Through this process, I hope the young women know there is somebody in their corner that will always be cheering for them. I intend to spend intentional and individual time with each of the new members in order to make them feel incredibly loved and seen.

Pledge class of 2024, I cannot tell you how excited I am to get to know all of you! I know the transition to college can be really difficult, but you will not have to do it alone. I was once in your shoes, and remember it all too well. I will be by your side guiding, leading, and cheering you on. I am here to tell you that I will be there for you to grab lunch in between your classes, go on a walk on a sunny day, talk to about your freshman year, be a shoulder to cry on, and do my very best to make you feel loved and supported. Being from out of state myself, I struggled at first to feel comfortable at Auburn during my freshman year, but the continuing support and love that older girls in ADPi showed me eased my nerves and reminded me that I was never alone. Additionally, I have selected a group of 18 current ADPi women who will be assisting me and walking through this transition with each of you. These first 8 weeks of being an ADPi are incredibly sweet and exciting, so soak them up! You are exactly where you are supposed to be because the Lord has intentionally placed each of you at Auburn and in ADPi. I am eager and expectant to see how you grow and how He works through you all this year, and I am so thankful to have a front row seat to witness it all!

I cannot even tell you how excited I am to be in the position I am. I cannot wait to give y’all the biggest hugs and love on each of you! Boom Boom!

With love & excitement,

Demi Stribling
